Another one of 'go to ' dining for Vietnamese style grilled bar/drinking foods. The staffs are friendly and attentive. The escargots are jumbo and adictively tasty but pairs great with any beer. The hot pots are an excellent choice for value in terms of seafood. The different escargot dishes are $30 each. We come here with at least 3 people everytime and at least 4 Ines a year. Most Vietnamese restaurants in the area are all the same with similar menus, similar service and feel. Hai Au really tickles your cultural funny bone because its slightly quirky and just a bit more interesting. On the wall specials with funny cow prints, plastic chooks, glaring led toilet signs, giant fountain of rice it's all a bit kitsch.
