"The food is just superb. The bugs were a standout with a delicious curry style sauce and coconut rice. The beef cheeks were tender. The barramundi and salmon were cooked perfectly and the combinations with the accompaniments were expertly put together. The food could not be faulted at all. They only had one cocktail on offer which was not nice, so they could improve by having a few options, they have a bar, and a drinks staff. The service was ok but not amazing, but you can forgive that for the great flavours!"

"Rguably the signature dish at Seven Lanterns, these grilled prawns were so popular that they were renamed THE Prawn $22, 2pcs). And they were a hit. The huge, plump prawns were butterflied and grilled until the sweetness of the flesh took on the rich smokiness of the flames, the shell all but falling apart, and then topped with a creamy emulsion and a drizzle of teriyaki sauce. It’s like an Asian twist on the indulgent flavours of mornay, and I especially appreciated how the sauced managed to be flavoursome without overwhelming the delicacy of the seafood."

"Beautiful little restaurant... we brought our meal $25 each and it was delicious and quite filling and I'm a big island boy... Customer service is very friendly and the cook was happy that we enjoyed the food.."
