I went to this restaurant for dinner and brunch. They have a solid selection for both meals. Interestingly, some of the sandwiches on the dinner menu can also be found on the brunch menu. However, there are also hashes, sausages, and breakfast tacos available for brunch. For dinner, there are options like an impossible burger, chicken sandwich, fish and chips, and fish tacos. You can modify many of their menu items t... View all feedback.
What Ecky T doesn't like about Bobcat Bonnie's:
The food was good, but some of it came out lukewarm, our waiter misinformed us about vegan options, we were left waiting for long periods, the bill had several items on it we didn't order, and it took a long time to sort it out. I was hoping the vegan selection would be larger than it was, after hearing good things, but the entree selection was two sandwiches, and we were told the fryer was shared. View all feedback.
We tried to visit the Flytrap Cafe on the street, but they were unexpectedly closed that day. We tried Bobcat Bonnies since it was close. We arrived at 11:10, but the doors were still closed. We started to reach Thai space next door when a server followed us down and said they were actually open at BBs. My partner and I both ordered the vegan chicken avocado sandwich (that has American cheese? Really? We asked vegan Cheddar cheese instead. The sandwiches arrived, but the cheese was completely gone. In the interest of time I asked the waiter to bring only a separate dish with the vegan Cheddar cheese to what he did. Bottom line: The sandwich was pretty average. The Aioli sauce was delicious, and the ingredients were fresh, but it was really nothing I would not have done at home.
Grilled Chick’n and avocado sandwich with onion rings. Onions are really good. Also available on DoorDash which was a plus for me. Food was good.
I was excited to find several vegan choices on the menu at this restaurant. While most of the options were comfort food, there were a few healthier vegan choices available. I'm not a fan of fake meats, of which there were many on offer, but I appreciate the variety of vegan options available.
We attempted to visit the Flytrap Cafe but found it unexpectedly closed. We then tried Bobcat Bonnies, arriving at 11:10am to find the doors still locked. Just as we were about to try the Thai place next door, a server approached us and informed us that Bobcat Bonnies was indeed open. Both my partner and I ordered the vegan chicken avocado sandwich, but were surprised to find it came with American cheese despite our request for vegan cheddar cheese. The cheese was missing altogether when our sandwiches arrived, so I asked the waiter to bring a separate plate with the vegan cheddar cheese. In the end, the sandwich was average with tasty aioli sauce and fresh ingredients, but nothing exceptional that I couldn't have made at home.
The food at this restaurant was decent, but a few dishes arrived lukewarm. Our waiter gave us incorrect information about the vegan options available. We had to wait a long time for our food and encountered some confusion with our bill, as it included items we did not order. Despite hearing positive reviews about the vegan selection, we found that it was limited to just two sandwiches for entrees, and were told that the appetizer was meant to be shared. Overall, we were disappointed with our experience.
