"We were greeted and served by friendly staff and directed to the restaurant dining room which is nicely presented and clean. Care was taken to check Covid credentials and there was sanitiser available as expected. The main course were pleasant enough and the half plate meal offer is an excellent as the portions are very big. The quality of the ingredients is reasonably good. The curry and pasta ordered was tasty and nicely presented. However, it was I think an Irish take on an Italian dish as was the curry. It was clear that Parmesan Cheese has not been considered for italian dishes when I asked for some parmesan cheese for the pasta dish I was presented with grated cheddar cheese. The menu is well balanced with a good choice and consideration for those with different dietary needs. The dessert was excellent and again a big portion and beautifully presented.Using the correct ingredients for regional dishes would add to the quality of the dishes on the menu. This is something I hope might be considered so their food reflects the care the chefs are taking in preparing and presenting meals from different regions. Otherwise, good facilities, excellent service, good value, nice menu and tasty food."

"Had lovely fresh cod and huge portion of chips my son had pizza was really tasty spotlessly clean lovely friendly atmosphere really welcoming and appreciative . If your out for a drive to Courtown I would definitely recommend a stop off here"
