Can’t recommend this place enough. Amazing service from the moment we got picked up in a car from our Riad a relief after all the walking in the Medina) We felt so at home and welcome in their house and the food was amazing. The Moroccan salads were slightly different to everything we had in a good way), we loved the lentils. As for the mains the lamb tajine was great! I’m gluten free so they made sure the menu worked for me. Best part of the meal was the dessert, a delicious ice cream and Moroccan gluten free cookies! Will always come back here on a future trip to Fes!

The places is still simply extraordinary. A family restaurant where you are literally in their house. The house built in the 9th century with exquisite decorating. The food was perfect, full of flavor and taste but feeling light and healthy. Finally the service : clear and friendly so you can enjoy the moment. Highly recommended! Our meander through the back alleys of the Medina was richly rewarded on arrival at Dar Hatim. This restored home, the origins of which date back to the 9th century, is magnificent as are the hosts Karima and Faoud. If you are looking for a warm, genuine, delicious Moroccan home-cooked meal in stunning surroundings, look no further. While a little out of the way, Faoud will offer to collect or meet you, and after our meal drove us home close to our Riad. We ate a mouth-watering selection of Moroccan salads, followed by steamed lamb, lamb tagine and chicken pastilla — the latter a sweetly spiced chicken pastie or pie. The was followed by a selection of lovely Moroccan sweets and ice-cream. Thanks again Faoud and Karima. Highly recommended.

We chose this restaurant for the indication of its panoramic view (always displayed on the door). In fact there is no terrace... Despite this disappointment the dishes were tasted and copied and the reception very friendly. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: MAD 50–100
