Kismet Takeaway - Fife

I have been a patron of Kismet for nearly 10 years, and I have never had a negative experience with them. The staff is friendly, the food is delicious, and they consistently deliver on time. While they may occasionally be busy and the food arrives slightly late or cool, this has only happened on rare occasions. Whenever I have called about this issue, they have promptly sent a fresh, hot replacement. I have noticed that most negative reviews seem to come from rival restaurants, as I have overheard people discussing leaving bad reviews while dining at Spice of Life. There has been a longstanding rivalry between these two establishments for almost a decade. Despite the negativity, I believe Kismet is the best restaurant in Glenrothes and would highly recommend them.

I have been a customer of Kismet for many years and have always visited the restaurant in person. However, since moving recently, I experienced an issue with a delivery service. The delivery person did not ring the doorbell, claiming they did, but no one came to receive the order. When they called to inform me that the order would be cancelled if I didn't call back within 15 minutes, they left a very rude message. I called back and was accused of not opening the door last time, but if the bell is not rung, how can I know someone is there? I have spent a lot of money at Kismet over the years, but now I am very disappointed in their service. I would not accept food from them even if it was free. The way they spoke to me was completely disrespectful. I recommend avoiding ordering from them as they do not deserve your business.

Phoned on Saturday to place a collection...was told over phone they wouldn't accept my order as I was calling from a withheld number...asked to speak to manager...he told me to f**k off and go elsewhere. Absolutely disgusting way to treat a customer...will never be ordering...from them again !!!

Absolutely shocking tonight...ordered at for kebabs and one pizza for delivery...order arrived about later...pizza was cold...phoned up and telephone girl spoke to somebody in shop and I could hear him rant...second pizza came out another hour later and it was wrong toppings...phoned...up again and spoke to manager he was ranting down phone staff are extremelly rude...he was telling me that my order wasn't priority...he couldn't quite understand where I was coming from that we ordered at and wasn't prepared to wait until pizza came and it was dumped on doorstep...shocking service and staff in shop need to realise that customers on phone can hear them...WILL NOT be ordering again...terrible service and rude staff !!!!

Typical takeaway greasy spoon food, but that was just what we were after. Good prices, and very quick delivery. They said it would be up to an hour, and it was about minutes. Pizza's are excellent!
