Bomb tri tip sandwich! I get mild BBQ and it's just right, it has a spice but not spicy, I would say all the sides are good as well just depends on what you want. Inside is small just a quick sit, eat and on your way. Don't even waste your money. Zero flavor, zero seasoning.. the tri tip was gray and looked... boiled maybe. The chicken was waaaaay over cooked and seemed as though it was reheated. Like 6 times. It was so dry, you couldn't even chew it. Baked beans were just too watery and had a weird flavor. Overly sweet. Everything was just bad. Didn't even finish our food. Cool staff, straight up barbecue, no gimmicks. Fantastic tri-tip sandwich plate. Hot BBQ sauce is ON POINT! Hot enough to pile on for a spicy dude, mild enough to dip for a sensitive lady. Had it to-go dined-in, both times 5/5 tri-tip. I would call it juicy nice, thoroughly cooked but seriously just right coming from SFV, i always want to hit this spot after shopping for some cactus. It was mid week around 2:30 and i am hungry. I was passing through Fillmore and lots of fast food but in a strip center I happen to see the Bbq Place. I decided to stop in. First impressions, the store front is nondescript but outside and inside and clean. The cashier greeted me and was pleasant. I opted for the hot link sandwich and macaroni salad. The food was ready in a timely manner and it arrived hot. The sandwich was kind of underwhelming. The sandwich was a butter toasted roll and 4 halves of hot link, spicy bbq sauce on the side. What was there was really good. The bread was fresh and it held up well with all the bbq sauce I dumped on the sandwich. The links had good heat on their own. The BBQ sauce was the star of the meal. Nice heat and great flavor. The sauce left my lips tingling. I just wish the sandwich had some mustard, a slice of tomato, a little lettuce maybe a little mayo. The macaroni salad was a miss for me. The pasta was over cooked and had no seasoning. If I was in the area again, I would give them another shot. Maybe I ordered wrong.

Great food and fast service. Definitely coming back again! The homemade chips are excellent. Everything has exceptional flavor.
Ok bbq nothing special and over priced for what you get. Tri tip sandwich was dry. The service was ok.
