"This place made our entire trip to Florence! We had Gianpiero as our waiter and he could not have been more hospitable, funny and attentive. So much so, we came back on our last night for a drink and dessert! Being pregnant in Florence has been challenging with all the cheese and cured meats, however Gianpiero was extremely careful and made sure anything I ordered was safe for me and my baby. My husband and I had three pastas, caccio de Pepe, truffle pasta and spaghetti all’ amatriciana, and all three were delicious could not recommend more! If you are looking for a great place for food, with amazing hospitality this one is for you!"

"The location of this restaurant is in one of the busiest areas of the historic district, so there is never a shortage of clientele. It was right around the corner from our hotel, so we were bound to stop in here at least once. We dined here for a late dinner on a Saturday night; it was busy but not packed. The server was very accommodating: he had the bartender try a cocktail to order and had the chef try a soup to order. The cocktail was mostly correct, but the soup was spot on and was delicious. The prices were not outrageous and the outside seating was very welcome. Overall, I would give this restaurant a 4.0 out of 5 among comparable restaurants."
