"Brand new on the tamales menu. Had a pair, a chicken and a bacon. Grateful Bites smokes their own bacon, and it was a surprisingly good tamale filling. Smoky and porky, no bad substitute for carnitas or other traditional meat for the dish. The food is always good, the desserts are amazing, and the restaurant has a mission that goes far beyond just cooking and baking. I also enjoyed the conversation I was. Live music on Saturday and Sunday afternoon, with local actors who also have their time to support this wonderful place."
