"We have been here a few times and it has always been superb. The food is special (but not odd), the ambience is lovely, the staff just right. Extra touches of amuses bouches and chocolates with the coffee arrive even with a fixed price lunch...time menu. We have been here with, and without, (well behaved) children. Once we were there with two, non restaurant food eating, babies. We asked whether this was alright when booking. We arrived to find a table set up with two high chairs, carefully placed so that we did not feel side lined but so that any slight baby noise would cause minimum disruption to others."

"Lovely dinner for 2 couples. We were on a cycle tour in Suisse Normande. Set menu delicious mackerel starter followed by perfect cod or tender pork, washed down with a couple of bottles of local white Normandy wine. Highly recommended."

"We've been here a few times now and we like this place very much. There's a formule for around 12 euros with a couple of choices for mains. We've found the food very good and the service friendly, if a little hectic! There's one woman...who seems to do all the front of house stuff herself: taking orders, serving, taking money, serving drinks. All credit to her, it can get very busy. The place has been full whenever we've been in there."
