I and my spouse went to Dennys, but came to the Iron Skillet. I am so glad that we did this because on arrival our sever Tori immediately greeted our table, took our orders and the waiting period was not long, our bets were tender, tasty and as I have said, I love thick, juicy meat, the cook Dontae really knows how to cook, the restaurant was clean not stubborn, I am looking forward to having more of Dontae thick jui... Iron Skillet is a roadside restaurant with no frills. So, it was surprising when the chicken BLT salad arrived with very fresh, tasty veggies and perfectly grilled, juicy chicken. It was a nice surprise. The garlic bread was also delicious. 4 stars for this meal. Chicken parmigian was not bad, but a little flavorless. 3 stars for this meal. "Passing though on our way to Myrtle Beach. Was looking for something local and different. This place was great! Shrimp and grits were great as was the salmon and the fried chicken. Service was friendly. We will make a point to stop again!"
