"Passing through, the best sides try the onion rings. I loved the dip. The showing off platter with no pulled pork. The potato salad and Mac/cheese . I usually hate the sides. Will return. The waitress was amazing. My son ate all the bread pudding and banana pudding. "First time here service beer selection was great waitstaff was always nearby, but never hovering . Reasonably priced, solid bar menu. We just had appetizers hummus waffle fries, both great. Will definitely come back. Vegetarian options: Hummus impossible meat products served Meal type: Other Price per person: $10–20"

"Ordered the combo for 2 and the jalapeño soup. shared with my husband because I just wanted fried fish and he wanted shrimp but we weren’t too hungry. My fish was BLAND as if it had been seasoned with pretty much nothing but the fish fry mix. Their sauces along with some hot sauce saved it though. My husband said his shrimp was bland and had no flavor also but we disregarded it because of the sauce. Now what got me was a worm in my fish. I know some people or the restaurant will say “oh that’s normal to see in fish and it’s cooked so it won’t hurt you” but I say otherwise. I grew up with a grandpa who was (still is) a fisherman. I never ate catfish from my grandpa and saw a worm because he filleted and cleaned all of his fish property. Not sure how this restaurant prepares their fish but they could get it together. Preparation with care and seasoning on the fried catfish is definitely needed here. Also the the fish had a very fishy taste to it as well but the lemon slices and hot sauce helped it die down. I feel like catfish is only gonna have that very fishy flavor if you don’t prepare and cook it right unless it was left sitting out or rancid. Is the fried fish and shrimps worth it? No. I’ve seen good reviews on the other food though so maybe it honestly just depends on what you choose."
