"Passing through, the best sides try the onion rings. I loved the dip. The showing off platter with no pulled pork. The potato salad and Mac/cheese . I usually hate the sides. Will return. "Ordered the combo for 2 and the jalapeño soup. shared with my husband because I just wanted fried fish and he wanted shrimp but we weren’t too hungry. My fish was BLAND as if it had been seasoned with pretty much nothing but the fish fry mix. Their sauces along with some hot sauce saved it though. My husband said his shrimp was bland and had no flavor also but we disregarded it because of the sauce. Now what got me was a worm in my fish. I know some people or the restaurant will say “oh that’s normal to see in fish and it’s cooked so it won’t hurt you” but I say otherwise. I grew up with a grandpa who was (still is) a fisherman. I never ate catfish from my grandpa and saw a worm because he filleted and cleaned all of his fish property. Not sure how this restaurant prepares their fish but they could get it together. Preparation with care and seasoning on the fried catfish is definitely needed here. Also the the fish had a very fishy taste to it as well but the lemon slices and hot sauce helped it die down. I feel like catfish is only gonna have that very fishy flavor if you don’t prepare and cook it right unless it was left sitting out or rancid. Is the fried fish and shrimps worth it? No. I’ve seen good reviews on the other food though so maybe it honestly just depends on what you choose."

"Absolutely love an affogato from here after dinner. Only reason it’s not five stars is I’ve been turned away three times recently an hour before closing because the coffee side was already shut down. Need to make that known somewhere if it’s standard practice."
