My family had another great experience at Jo’s last night. The wait staff was prompt and courteous, and the food was excellent. My only disappointment is they no longer offer draft beer. They now sell bottled beer only but it’s not very cold. The manager acknowledged and said several others have mentioned the bottled beer is not cold. She apologized and said the problem has been communicated up the chain and hopes th... View all feedback.
What Emily Guffey doesn't like about Jo's Diner:
This was the biggest disappointment. There isn’t much to choose from with breakfast places in Jackson, MS as it is. So we figured, why not? Let’s give Jo’s a shot. Food took an hour to get, everything arrived to the table cold. The server asked if we wanted it remade or if we wanted it reheated. Reheated? Is that really a question? If I wanted reheated food, I’d warm up an eggo waffle at home. They replaced our order... View all feedback.
This is one of our favorite places to eat! The atmosphere, service, and consistently good food is what makes this place great! We've had birthday parties, week night dinners, and great memories at Jo's Diner. I highly recommend! (Toni is an awesome waitress!
Very, very good. I can't wait to return. I have already decided what I will order. ?

If I wanted reheated food, I’d warm up an eggo waffle at home. They replaced our order in less than 5 minutes. Again, arrived cold.Come to find out, they cook in bulk and keep everything under a heat lamp. It’s not made to order. With the insane prices- this is ridiculous. Do better.
We made our first visit yesterday, absolutely loved our meals. Chicken fried steak and the hamburger steak were awesome! Our server Jill (I belive) was awesome. There is a bit of wait for the food but waiting for deliciousness isn't a negative at all. Will be returning when possible for sure!!
Polite and friendly service believe the waitress was new but she was helpful, attentive and cheerful. Passing through the state while on a holiday from England and the diner didn't disappoint with many hallmarks of a classic 50s diner from the music playing over the jukebox, the booths, and the milkshakes which are an absolute must not miss. The food was generous portions, fresh ingredients and very tasty we had Philly cheesesteaks, rib eye benedict and country fried steak Benedict delicious! Well worth a short detour off the i55.
