The best cheeseburger I've honestly ever had. So fresh! The southwest wrap is awesome and so fresh. The Mac n cheese bites and fried pickles were great as well....

"Did a long hot bike ride in Floyd. Really hungry....Was told that Mickey G 's Bistro was the place to go for great food when you are hungry. They had that right! Our Waiter Nicholas Gucciardo steered me into an awesome on the Special for the Day board. I thoroughly enjoyed the 1/2 chicken w/ veggies and had enough food to take home for another meal at a great price. Thank you Nicholas for finishing us off to the end of a great day! If you want some great bike riding. You need to hit the town of Floyd area...the scenery is absolutely gorgeous and safe to ride the back roads...gravel and pavement."

"Because I'm here early, the waiting time for lunch was too long for a long ride. I decided to order Grits and Country Ham. I asked if it was just a simple dizzy. They had a lot of butter when I only added salt, but they were still good. But the HAM!!!! OMGoodness! It was perfection and a decent size disc. If I had known, I would have ordered enough to keep three more breakfasts. The bathrooms were easily accessible via an outdoor ramp or by the gift shop."

"Best hot chocolate in the world after my 8-year-old! (and he would know!) There is also a vegan hot chocolate mix if you are looking for it. Your chocolate chip oatmeal cookies are used like mother to make. What a sweet shop! You should definitely pass when you're in Floyd, VA. There is something for everyone, from coffee and biscotti to caramels and truffles. The chocolates are well balanced with high quality chocolate and not too sweet as the commercial stuff."

"Visiting Floyd and shopping the local merchants always makes for a great day trip. We enjoy eating at the local restaurants, of which their are many good ones. During our most recent visit, we tried Dogtown Roadhouse and were not disappointed. Our two wood fired pizzas, The Kitchen Sink Pepperoni, were cooked to perfection. Their craft beer menu was impressive and complimented our two delicious pies. Service was very good and the friendly vibe we experienced makes us sure to return again soon!"
