Excellent "down to earth" food with a local flavour. The personnel truly make you feel welcome and are warm hearted. The ambiance is very vivid and lively. Interestingly, a lot of the locals enjoy dinner at the Tannenboden restaurant as well! I shall return with family and friends. read more.

The restaurant also offers the possibility to sit outside and have something in nice weather.

We were there on a mondayevening during the winter holidays. We reserved in advance (recommended). The restaurant is part of the hotel, but we didn't stay there...

"The rooms were standard but very clean, we traveled with dog and even had a terrace with green area. the breakfast was good and fresh. most convinces next to the location directly on the walensee, the friendliness of the employees. I'd like to go back."

"Absolute no go .. a children's menu (small fries and 2 small schnitzels without anything 24.50 per child, seriously? An adult menu with salad and soup 28.50. Condition was overwhelmed, wrong food brought, waited a very long time for lunch...wrong soup brought...arrived at 12 p.m. and only got our food shortly before 1 p.m....and then the wrong one...absolutely no go for a lunch break... when paying, they were great, the card reader was operated very competently : .. very expensive for a below average service, especially for children.. Sorry, for a high quality kitchen it has to fit around it. Unfortunately we will no longer visit this restaurant, price/performance is absolutely poor."

"We, a group of three, arrived after hiking down the Santis mountain on a Tuesday afternoon. We got some Apfelschorles and coffee while gazing at the lake in front of the Seealpsee Berggasthaus. Our waitress was nice; she didn't kick us out even though we...only went inside after we had finished our drinks and after it started raining. They also didn't rip us off on pricing. They had rooms to rent and the whole restaurant looked like a cafeteria for the guests, but it's a a restaurant too. There is a huge patio! The bathroom was clean and I refilled my water bottle in the sink. It was good water."
