This place is just the cutest little place. I feel like it is somewhere you can drop in alone and grab a bite at, or a great little place to take a date, Even a great place to take the whole family. It just gives all the Vibes. I love the Thai tea. But then I always love a good glass off Thai tea. The prices are also really good for Edgar you get. Large sharable portions. What A Pietras doesn't like about Sawa Japanese Steakhouse:
First time here. Not impressed. Ordered the spicy miso soup and vegetables egg rolls. Egg rolls were good but they must have forgotten the spice in the broth. The other reviews the broth was yellow. Mine was plain and simple. I had ate a good part before I took the pic but there still is no spice at all. For what I paid it looks like it would have been better and bigger. View all feedback.
It's a great little restaurant! The decor and atmosphere were great. Cool things that catch your eye in every direction. We sat in the section separate from the bar, but the bar looked nice, and more seating was available in that section. The staff was super nice and checked in on us often. The food was good! My companions on this adventure really liked the hibachi chicken. Everything was tender and flavorful with good portions. I had the miso ramen and firecracker roll. Both were very tasty! The best bowl of ramen I have had in Virginia. The only thing I was hoping for was a bit more spiciness. Even the Wasabi was a little lacking in the sinus clearing effects, but that's just me. I like a little heat. I'm definitely going back for a bowl of ramen. Go out and give them a try! One of the top Japanese restaurants in the area, great place for takeout or dine in, the Ramen is top notch, hibachi meals are great, all of their teas are delicious, and the sushi is amazing as well. Parking: People end up parking illegally and blocking the back lot during high volume hours.
