A hidden gem. Great food, fun drinks, comfortable atmosphere, reasonable prices. Tucked away and almost hidden from street view, the Black Dog was a refreshing surprise and offered a delightful lunch, between the friendly, attentive staff, the amazing menu, and the classic rock soundtrack and motif, I can't wait for an excuse to go back with friends and family. What Carmen Gamboa doesn't like about Blackdog Grill:
We ate at Black Dog for the first time on Mother's day a Sunday. Arrived around 530pm and wasn't crowded. The time we ordered our food around 6pm, it was starting to fill up. They were out of fish n chips, but had most all other food and their signature BBQ and burnt ends were still available! We got the local slow roasted 1/2 chicken (very tasty! , and the Jammin' (pulled pork w/ slaw delicious . The one server that... View all feedback.

The food was fantastic, and the staff were amazing! Noel was incredibly helpful and accommodating, handling my awkwardness with ease. I would recommend this place to others without hesitation!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the ambiance is really cool—definitely a spot that's perfect for Snapchat. It was my first visit, and I was truly impressed. Every dish was full of flavor and served in generous portions. We tried the ribs, carrots, mac and cheese, pork, and brisket, all of which were delicious. The stuffing salad with homemade croutons was also a highlight. I will definitely be returning! The only thing I didn't care for was the strawberry lemonade, but everything else was great.
I've been to this restaurant several times, and the burgers are incredibly delicious! I usually order mine without the black dog sauce since I'm not a fan, but the meat itself is outstanding. The ribs are the best I've ever had outside of Texas. There's just enough sauce to acknowledge its presence without overshadowing the fantastic smoked meat. My only complaint is about the coleslaw; it’s a bit dry and doesn’t quite match the flavor I was expecting. On the other hand, the French fries are perfect—crispy and golden brown, just how I like them. I'm eager to try the fried chicken and hand-dipped corn dogs next time, as the meat has been consistently great!
Great food and atmosphere, but I wish they had a few more large screens for those of us who enjoy sports. Don’t miss out on their Korean wings! They’re nice and meaty, generously coated in an excellent Korean sauce!
