we moved to joys green 5 months ago and had only one child free at night so decided to go to our local pub to try it. beautiful friendly atmosphere and welcome. saw in the beer garden and had a drink, but as the sun we sat in and chatted to the locals. there were no meals there, but we will do sometime in the near future. read more.

really great place, a hidden gem. the steak and kidney cakes were absolutely fantastic.

delicious home coke and a good selection of real ales. family-friendly with children's menu and high chair for the baby.

"I was in the house last night with some friends, and it was such a wonderful night. I participated in veganuary and decided to go on and this restaurant made me so welcome and made the whole experience so easy! one of the most vegan friendly places I visited and it is right at our doorstep! the owner even came out to explain my options and ask if I was satisfied with them all. such a wonderful experience from a meaty restaurant and eating was also amazing (as it is always! many thanks for a great night."

"Disappointing… waiting staff super miserable and unhelpful. Ordered kids meals which the menu said came with beans but were served peas. When questioned, the peas were returned and we were told they had run out of beans. It seemed like the staff couldn’t care less about anyone or anything! Beef was cut very thick, chewy and was nowhere near pink. The wine was nice but not at £10 per 250ml!!! Too expensive for the poor quality. Bar staff were lovely but that’s probably my only positive."
