"Small but good Japanese restaurant! The prices are fair and the food is worth the price. It’s a great place to grab a bite to eat or have dinner!"

"Food is not really that good..Do not order the clubhouse. It's just 3 slabs (half inch thick) of turkey on top of a bacon tomato sandwich."

"So far my experience with this restaurant has been extremely positive, I have visited in person but mainly ordered through delivery services. Easily the best breakfast place in Fort McMurray without a contest in my opinion, the Cora-style poutine has extreme value for how much you are given. Almost every single order I have ordered the Jo Construction and it has been great every time. Make sure to order it with white bread though, I once ordered it with a bagel instead of regular bread and it didnt match with the meal very well. Packaging is consistent, the only issue I really have is the wooden utensils given, I understand that its environmentally friendly but the wooden texture and shape are what makes them unenjoyable to use in my opinion."

"When they say small plates, they quite literally mean it. You are basically paying for the view and the fancy atmosphere. While all that is great, I didn 't have the best food in town here. IMO, if you are going to have this style of dining, it better also be the best tasting in town. While taste is subjective, what I 'm saying is that there is nothing special about the dishes here."

"The staff here is fantastic. They 're fun, the gentleman who was our waiter was very high energy and was belting out Bon Jovi tunes by the end of the night.I had the loaded poutine, great flavor combo with the fresh ingredients playing nicely off the rich cheese and sauce. The vindaloo was the only knock. As beef curries go it was flavorful and the beef was cooked to a beautiful medium but it was not a vindaloo by any stretch of the imagination. If you keep the recipe change the name to mild curry. When I eat a vindaloo I should break a sweat, I should be reaching for my drink, I should be wondering if the extacy of the heat now will lead to regret and bargaining with God the next day.Now they also dropped some items off the menu that they have had in the past. Memorable dishes like the elk meatloaf which was phenomenal when they had it and was worth the admittedly high price and going out of your way to get.All this said, I understand, this place is centrally located in Fort McMurray which isn 't exactly the flavor (or spice) capital of the world, which is why reworking their vindaloo would make this place really stand out as a go to spot as opposed to a Hey let 's try this spot."

"Since moving to Fort Mac, this has been my go to spot since discovering it. I'm from Toronto and I miss the diversity it offered in terms of cuisines and flavors and just being able to get dishes I don't normally cook! Cedars has been able to keep me filled with their generous portions (I usually get 2 servings from 1 platter). The meat is always cooked to perfection whether it's their chicken, beef, lamb, etc. The fatoush salad is always fresh and so delicious as well definitely recommend!"

"Had a great server and atmosphere was great! We enjoyed our family dinner there. However, wasn 't impressed with most of the food items we ordered.Hummus was 8/10 (amazing hummus, but fried pita was too oily)Fish Burger 7/10Wings 2/10 (overcooked and small)Mash potatoes (tasted old) 0/10Buffalo chicken poutine 0/10The biggest disappointment was indeed the poutine. After eating a few Fries from the top layer, we had to dig to find the rest of the ingredients. WAY TOO MUCH GRAVY. We were not impressed by the quality and taste of the spicy chicken either, that was on the poutine. Great presentation tho.We will definitely give OJs another go, however I would suggest coaching the servers on proper verbiage conveyed to the customer when ordering the poutine. Server and other customers have mentioned that they often get negative feedback from the amount of gravy on the poutine. The Fries, Wings, fish, pita chips were very oily. Fryer temp didn 't seem to be at the right temperature and cleanliness. We honestly felt bad about complaining about all those items, so we decided to just bring up the poutine to the server. Excellent guest recovery and understanding. Friendly server, however, 2 stars because of the food... For now"
