The food is alright, but more expensive than I thought it would be. Drinks are good, but took a little bit to come out. Dietary restrictions: Very few options for gluten free. What Michelle Chesnut doesn't like about Blue Mountain And Grill:
We made a reservation a month ago, drove two hours away and showed up to a note on the door saying no food service, only bar service that night. When we went in to inquire about our reservation we were told that they had no staff to work that night and didn't seem to care that they had ruined our out of town dinner plans. "Wasn't quite what we expected but we were only going to be there to sleep so we made the best of it. Glad we didn't plan on having dinner there since they weren't open nor were they for breakfast when we checked out. There were serving ice cream the day we checked in. I heard someone ask if they were gonna be open for dinner the next day to which the girl said she was pretty sure they would be but didn't sound convinced. So call before you go. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of organization around there. The room seemed clean, there was powder residue in the tub so I guess that's a good sign? Just not rinsed well. But while laying in in the tub and looking up you could see a lot of soap scum on the walls. The bathroom smelled like propane, strongly. The room was dimly lit and AC units had not been turned on before getting there (there were two) Luckily it cooled down by the time we got back to the room after venturing out. The beds were comfy enough. There was only parking along the street but we were able to find a spot."

"My family has dined at Lupita’s for the past three trips out to the Davis Mountains, and without a doubt it is our favorite meal of the trip! Keep in mind you need to go here for breakfast and/or lunch. We usually go for brunch and have breakfast. It’s delicious! My husband and I enjoy the migas and my daughters love the huge fluffy pancakes. Definitely recommend since restaurants are sparse in Ft Davis but this one rises to the top every time!"

"Great little restaurant. We came because of the reviews. Their food is great. Had the ribeye, the loaded fries and the brisket tacos. It was all delicious. The enchiladas were also delicious, although less than the rest : well worth trying this restaurant out over the Marfa and Alpine ones"
