"While in Queensbury on business, I stumbled across Craft on 9 while walking around the park. The store front restaurant bar is cozy and 'upclass ' at the same time. Tristan, the bartender and my waiter, was attentive and friendly. The selection of beers on tap was nice with several from local breweries and the selection of mixers was top shelf. Tristan also made several beautiful mock tails for another group while I was there. While the menu is somewhat limited, the selections are varied. I had the sirloin steak with Bleu cheese butter, mashed red potatoes, and grilled broclinni. (I did substitute the mashed potatoes for the fries offered with no issues. The food was delivered in the perfect amount of time and cooked to perfection. I like my steaks fairly rare, which can be difficult, but the chefs did an exceptional job! The only suggestion I would have is to tell the kitchen staff to turn their music down the music playing in the bar is fantastic, but was being drowned out. Overall, a great dining experience in comfortable surroundings. I will definitely visit again and recommend to my colleagues for when they are in the area. "We went for lunch. Excellent service. Our fried cauliflower appetizer was very good. I ordered fried lobster tacos and my wife had a salad. I really enjoyed my tacos and seasonal pumpkin beer. They have a bar you can sit at and patio seating. We will certainly be returning."
