We visited this restaurant for lunch in August 2014 and had a very good meal. My husband had the local speciality of mussels (moules du bouchot) in cream and was given a good portion. What User doesn't like about La Chipaudiere:
Sea front café, on the corner of the main street. There's a hotel upstairs and seating outside, sheltered from the wind by glass windbreaks, though we went into the bar. The bar was pleasant but nothing exceptional. Coffee, tea and Perrier came to 8€50. We watched through the window as a troupe of visiting giants tried to stand up against the wind off the Manche. In the sea the kite surfers were having lots of fun. View all feedback.

I tried the plain omelette, which was well cooked and served with salad and chips. We shared a small pichet of wine and were served quickly and pleasantly. The restaurant has a wind-sheltered terrace which was busy and we enjoyed a relaxed meal on a busy weekday afternoon.
