Had a very nice room older but well kept. The office for check in was nice and easy check in. A few gifts in office to buy if interested at reasonable price. They have a pool but I did not see it, not extremely good cell reception unless outside, nice over night getaway View all feedback.
What Trek633248 doesn't like about Desoto State Park Lodge:
I hope some lodge rooms are better than most but the room we stayed in really needed some help….bed was extremely uncomfortable probably because it is not a quality mattress at all, pillows need replacing, wall paper is peeling along ceiling especially in bathroom, baseboards all need cleaning, window to back deck is clouded meaning broken seal, carpet needs replacing. Really enjoyed the breakfast here. No powdered eggs, they have the real thing. Dinner, we had steak. It was very good, salad bar was awesome. Service was great. Price was fair.
We enjoyed a one night, peaceful retreat at the lodge with convenience to beautiful hikes! Our room was very clean and bed comfortable.
Food needs some improvements greasy appetizers, now only Been there twice and service was Very Good
Enjoyed out short stay. The Lodge restaurant was great as well.
