absolutely recommend the mixed chicken plate. you have so much flavor. my darling chicken all india. actually everything we had here was amazingly delicious, and the owner was so friendly. I was a little bit comprehensible as it was empty when we arrived, but don't hesitate to sit down because they have an amazing meal in their future! View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about The Cottage Grill:
Quaint little place, very nice staff, good food. We ordered clam chowder, BLT, onion rings and ole fashion meat loaf, garlic potatoes, veggies and garlic bread. All was good. Potatoes were old and onion rings were cold. If you pay with cash you may have an extended stay. All cash transactions go through the owner who can be a little slow. View all feedback.
We found this little gem by chance. We were greeted with a friendly smile and our server Joyce was so nice and helpful. The food was so good and the Sangria amazing. We will certainly be returning for more while in Port St Lucie. We go there quite often...we love the place. the food is great, The menu is pretty extensive, so there is something for everyone. One of our favorites is the pea soup, homemade and delicious!
The yellow pea soup is the best I've ever had. I'm not much of a fish eater but their fish is so good. That's what I always get when I go there. The place is so cute with nice atmosphere and the service there is excellent. Prices are about in the medium range. I highly recommend this

When I ordered the Shepard's Pie, I thought I would get meat and veggies covered in mashed potatoes, it was just a meat soup with a scoop of mashed potatoes on it. It said it came with asparagus, not an asparagus(1). The Italian Meatball Soup was delicious. We asked for bacon to be added to or cheeseburger, most places add two pieces, this was just a single slice. We also ordered the fried haddock and the oil it was cooked in hadn't been cleaned or filtered in a while (very dark).
An inconceivable hole in the wall bar and grill. great tasting eating, friendly service (from joy) and large portions, all at a reasonable price. we will return!
