"Wow! We travelled to East Texas from California during our last holiday and we stopped in Fort Stockton to eat some lunch (12/29/21... 12:17 pm 1:21 pm). Do not let yourself be cheated when you look at this place from the outside. The food, the atmosphere and the staff were absolutely fantastic! We waited a short time for a table, but it was worth waiting! Once in this rustic restaurant we were served by the nicest waiter (young guy, very friendly)! You don't have a soda I don't care since we all drink water in my family. We ordered the chicken quesadilla and 3 chicken taco plates. The food was delicious!!! Best real Mexican food we had in a Looonnnggg time! Our hometown Mexican restaurants do not even come close to competing with this place! We also ordered their Queso and chips... both were so delicious. Chips were wonderful, salted and delicious. The queen was worth the price! Cream and very tasteful! Every time we drive this direction into the future we will stop in this amazing restaurant! We wish this place was closer to our hometown! Thank you for the wonderful experience and the best food!"

"We came to Fort Stockton for a game and had time for lunch. There was a team that worked together, you could have been in training and the girls were very patient. Our food came perfect and tasted great. Not sure we're back in Fort Stockton, but I'd be ready to grab a sub for lunch!"

"I have to admit my heart is forever broken about the salad bar but serving the side salad in a giant steel bowl with a standard 8oz helping of ranch dressing makes the loss seem survivable. Fantastic chicken fried steak hanging off the plate, fresh and crispy onion rings, and loaded baked potatoes sure make this Texas girl smile. Our server was friendly and efficient, thank you for an awesome dinner!"

"I don't know what was better... the food or the service. Both were absolutely phenomenal! We arrived a little after 12 pm on a Sunday, right smack in the middle of a rush. We were immediately greeted and seated after a short 5 minute wait. Our waitress, Alicia, was very attentive and took our drink order very quickly, needlessly apologizing for our short wait. We received our food quickly after ordering, barely having a chance to dig into the delicious chips and salsa (not that I'm complaining! lol). We ordered the chilaquilas verdes and the tacos de birria. Oh man! DELICIOUS! I cannot begin to explain how great this food was. The creaminess of the salsa verde and crunchy chips blended so well together. I actually considered trading plates because his food was so good. The caldo to dip your birria tacos tasted like it came from the menudo, which was a hot seller at the other tables. The meat was very tender and they were very generous with the cheese on the tacos. Definitely a must stop if you're ever in the area."
