"I started ordering food from garnes thai in 2017. Since then it was my favorite! I love it and there is no better word to describe it! Even if I'm pulled away from here 1000km, I'm still coming back to eat some of the garnes thai. my favs are grilled and fried garnel, even the sprig rolls! simply sooo delicious. the price is very attractive and they have the delivery at home, which is just so perfect! always thank you for the great food!"

"A few weeks after my visit, I want to give a small feedback. The location is unique and so is the whole experience when having dinner here. The staff are very friendly and helpful, and they are doing their best to serve the guests. The restaurant was fully booked when I was there. From my point of view, there are two things that I want to point out as improvements: selection of no alcohol drinks timing between last main and dessert As this restaurant is on a small island, you need to come here by boat. As this is rural Norway, you must expect that some of the guests must drink non alcoholic beverages to be able to drive home once you reach mainland. I was very disappointed when the only non alcoholic drinks were still or sparkling water, and soft drinks such as Coca Cola, Fanta etc in addition to Clausthaler and Munkholm. There are so many options for non or low alcohol than this. I was very disappointed. As we booked our dinner with the boat departing at midnight, the kitchen should strive to be more timely with the dessert. This evening we spent quite some time waiting for the dessert, and we had only minutes to gulp it down until it was ready to depart. Shorter wait time between last main and dessert would be nice. All in all a super nice experience. I love the idea of creating venues like this on the most impossible of locations. Good luck for the future!"
