"I emailed ahead to see could I bring my friends jack Russell with us. It was no problem. Greeted by a lovely young barman who gave us a great and varied menu. We ordered 3 mains all I can say is we licked the plates the roast beef was tender , bacon and cabbage was so tasty my daughter had toasted sandwich, chips and salad the coleslaw was homemade and tasty. The deserts were crumble and sticky toffee pudding they were amazing. All I can say is we will be back and I give it a 5star plus for service and food."

"My husband and I had had a bad day and had to cancel our original dinner plans in Doolin and had trouble finding a place to eat near the B&B we were staying at in Shannon that had food we both could eat and that was open, so we settled on this place. I wasn 't sure what items on the menu might be vegan, so I asked if they had a vegan menu. The guy taking our order looked very annoyed that I dare ask that and gestured at the menu, saying something like well, there 's salads. Wow. That was the first time ever that I even asked that in a restaurant because I knew that some restaurants actually DO have vegan menus that they 'd be happy to show you and I thought I 'd give that a try. I 'm very shy about making a fuss about anything, so just asking if they had one was a bit out of my comfort zone as it was and of course, I was polite about it. Why was that so annoying to him? So unprofessional. Also, dude...There are other things on the menu that are vegan than just the salads. Sheesh. I just wanted to be sure what all my options were. Other than that rude experience, the ambience of the restaurant was fine (not counting the kids running around the table next to ours, but I can 't really blame the restaurant for that), the food was pretty good, and the two other guys who brought us our food were pleasant to deal with."

"On our drive to Dingle we passed through the town of Adare and knew we had to stop. Strolled into this pub and loved the charm of this place and the people in the pub."
