"Don’t believe the rating. They ignored us at the hostess stand for a while and then a waitress sat us next to it. At about 30% capacity, two waitresses were handling all the customers. The menu didn't have Cuban food or oysters so we picked from the difficult menu. We were served after about 20 minutes, brought the wrong drinks, and horrible food. The food looked good on the outside but the chicken was ice cold on the inside, the beef tips were raw on the inside, the salad was wilted, and the fried egg was raw. The egg ran all over the rice and the fries.Besides the food being bad, the ceiling was falling in over a table of 8 people and there were bare wires hanging from the ceiling. I can't imagine what the kitchen looked like. We told the waitress about the problems and left."

"My husband and I had lunch here on Fri. Mar 10. We each had a Roast Beef and Swiss w/ auj. it was really good. I could not finish mine. I wish that you could order just half sandwich with chips. Because I only eat small meals. I was not going straight home so I did not want to take with me. Great staff very friendly. Need one in Sylva near a creek or even in Cullowhee would visit often."

"Currently in the next Mexican restaurant past the tax office after leaving before my food arrived at this place. The staff was so rude for me at mi casa that I was nuinly annoyed and embarrassing when leaving. I literally never write bad reviews. I really feel when it's not a positive review, keep my mouth shut. But this place is insanely disrespectful and her staff has brought me to the point where I will never be again. I don't want to share details, but I'll say that. Go to El charro instead. And to give Casa, how dare you. Also the restaurant is dirty with bugs and it smells like waste water inside. Yeah, that's the place. The answer the owner acts as if it weren't the place, but that's exactly the place I'm talking about."
