You want something simple, fast and delicious, this is the perfect place. I ordered a side of sautéed zucchini and we shared a Philly cheese sandwich, to calm my hunger a little, it was perfect. What Jim Hudson doesn't like about Merridee's Breadbasket:
We have been going to Merridee's Breadbasket since 1998, over the last few years there has been a noticeable change in the food recipes, atmosphere and service. I believe today will be our last visit. There were 5 tables occupied, the food took forever to come out and food quality was to a point where we requested a refund for one of the items. It is a shame to lose one of the gems of downtown Franklin. View all feedback.

In all honesty best breakfast I’ve ever had. Omelette and biscuit had so much going on. I’ve been to plenty of diners and haven’t found anything like it.
Perfect spot for breakfast/lunch. Love the taco soup, Viking bread, pies and cinnamon rolls. A must if you’re in Franklin or visit Franklin.
Used to hit them up for pecan bars when I worked next door. If they have them def ? Been craving a good Club sando for a few weeks now and it did not disappoint. I did opt for no honey mustard and just applied some regular mayonnaise instead. It hit the spot. Everything was fresh and tasty but that egg bread is what made it absolutely fantastic. Wife had the pot pie and the hash brown casserole. Not a fan of hb casserole but this was really, really good. I don’t dislike peas but the wife’s pot pie seemed to have an over abundance of them. Need to chill on those a little I guess, just our opinion. No shade. Went back the next day for baked goods before we headed back home to the Boro. Can’t wait to try the sticky bun.
