when visiting the opposite of nashville, my wife and I always try to have at least one meal in old chicago. although we tend to have pizza, we may have the variety of food available. it is too bad that our community (collierville, tn; a memphis suburb) does not have an old chicago. What User doesn't like about Old Chicago Pizza Taproom Franklin:
around 18:35 clock our pof has only been taken by 18 clock! our server was either really new or just slower than melasse. she was nice, but definitiw didn't think of as a server. shown with a whole tablet of drinks, missing one of us and the others were for another table put the entire tablet next to my daughter and delivered to another table. our review had a few items that were not meant for us to wait another hand... The service has gone several times downhill. he waited for 35 minutes to eat and they were not very busy. I waited for an hour to get our food last time. If they had no great pizza, we wouldn't go back.
We love Old Chicago! Great for kids and their parents who like good beer and cocktails.
We had 28 people for our kids volleyball team get together after our tournament ended. They did a great job taking care of suck s large group!!!
Overall, solid if unspectacular experience. Server was attentive, but overlooked several basics (e.g. no napkins and silverware). Food was about the same.
Great family place. Server was prompt and accommodating. Food very good for the price.
