What Brian DeLaite doesn't like about The Chef's Table:
We have been dining here for years. It’s always an amazing meal until last night. I cannot overstate our disappointment with the food, service, and setting. It wasn’t even the same restaurant. I’m wondering if it recently changed hands as the usual team that’s been there since the original owners sold were not there. The food tasted like a French inspired frozen dinner. We’re going to miss the old Chef’s Table. View all feedback.

This is strange to hear from the entrepreneur (usually they are less concerned with customers and things more than green in his pocket. All foods are excellent, presentation was great. Hot and delicious!!!! I've never had skatefish before. What a great and never forgotten experience. I'll make our reservation if we check in next week.
I was happy to make a reservation for a Saturday night just a few days in advance. Food was excellent. I had to start the oysters on the half shell and they were amazingly fresh. Loved that it came with cocktail sauce and mignonette sauce. My husband had the Lobster Bisque and enjoyed it. The cook sent a tasting of pate that was light and smooth. Scallops were rich and tasty and my husband polished the beef special. The cook stopped by to say hello and see if we enjoy our food. Yeah, and what a nice gesture to welcome us personally. We had the profiteroles for Dessert. We played it safely with ice and chocolate, but next time I would like to try some of the most interesting offers. Our server was polished, knowledgeable and funny. Overall, a nice culinary experience and we will be back. BYOB is a big perk we brought a beautiful wine and the bank did not break
The food was delicious, but it was a Saturday night and the service should have been better. Our waitress was very nice, but we needed fresh utensils for the duck and it took too long to get them while our food was always cool there. Also, I had asked for Dessert with a candle for the birthday we celebrated, and was told that a dessert plate would be served that “they do it right.” Nothing was served except the dessert we had ordered. Very disappointed!
My friends and I enjoyed a wonderful evening at the kitchen table. Service was warm, welcoming and professional. The menu included enough options to our group of 4. Each dish was delicious and served hot. We finished the evening with a delicious Baked Alaska and Crepe Suzzet. Worth visiting.
A true culinary delight, great presentations and flavors to match. We have eaten here several times since this restaurant has reopened under new managrment about 18 months ago. Menu, food quality, presentations and ambiance are fabulous. Small enough to feel like each meal was personalized. Hard to beat!!
