"Keen to try something new, my partner and I decided to have dinner at Geonbae last Saturday night, and we were not disappointed! As Korean BBQ novices we were curious to try a few dishes but not hungry enough to attempt the set menus as they sounded huge. We ordered the croquettes (divine! , the kimchi gratin (spicy and moreish , the spicy chicken bbq (very tasty and the beef bulgolgi bbq (absolutely delish! . We left feeling extremely satisfied, quite full, and eager to return again soon. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with explaining the menu items and cooking our bbq, and service was really fast! Such a great addition to the Frankston foreshore."

"My mother-in-law lives in Frankston, so we got here for lunch for her 70. Birthday hit. It was pumped quite on Sunday, despite the 10% weekend supplement. Staff were young, friendly and efficient. I had no high hopes based on the Happy Cow reviews, so I played it safe and decided for a BRAT. My husband suggested that we share this and one of the specials, so we have a risk and order the lamb souva tacos. Both exceeded my expectations! The lamb was tender, marinated in delicious spices, but it was a little oily. The bacon was crispy cooked some of the best I ever had! Salad fillings were fresh, sauces creamy and tasteful, but a bit chaotic. The BRAT was served on a beautiful, soft, bubbly Turkish role. Coffee was also reasonable, but I wouldn't just go there. We shared some raw discs for dessert, but I'm usually not much of a fan of which recommend so 't. There are a number of foods and sweet items and a small gift shop selling chintzy hair clips, earrings, scarves, etc a bit strange! I enjoy eating under their flowering inner plants. "The food was great at this location, especially the Lamb cutlets listed in the entree so good we ordered more cutlets with our mains! Garlic naan was excellent, chicken curry was average. We visited on a Saturday at lunch, and there was one other table occupied. Disappointingly, however, I had booked a 50% offer through TheFork which was not honoured by the restaurant. The restaurant claimed that we had cancelled our booking, even though I am making this review in response to the promotional booking that I made. I showed the restaurant my active booking on TheFork app, but the restaurant did not accept this. I subsequently contacted TheFork and the restaurant numerous times, but both have refused to offer any assistance. Please note this prior to making your booking."

"We love this restaurant. We have been lots of times and have recommended to friends and family and also used it as an excuse to go with them to show them! However, we only really go for special occasions usually because it is quite expensive. Staff are usually very knowledgeable about the steaks and with any other questions you may have. Always nice ambience. Would definitely recommend"
