What Carlos Ferrari likes about Mcdonald's:
Never cared for the burgers but damn I loved the coffee and cheese+ham+tomato toastie! Was a regular for a long time delicious coffee (depending on the barista though and it was either a good breakfast (coffee and toastie or a great desert after main course in a restaurant downstairs (as desert I would also have the coffee but with a delicious muffin . Oh and if you get lucky to have a good barista they really do it... View all feedback.

"Reasonably priced lunch. $20 for meat, plus 3 sides. Really filling. Reservation prefered. Ambiance was good, view of remarkables.Recommended will be the ribs, fries, brazilian rice. So curious about the farofa, had to try it. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The fried banana can be your dessert. Will go back again to try the churrasco"

"Come to New Zealand for it's natural beauty and welcoming people but stay for the food. After a fabulous meal at Ahi in Aukland, the meal at Rata might have been even better. Ambiance was nice. Large, open, modern room but still very warm, with plenty of spacing between tables. Since you are at your table and relaxed, order one of their exquisite custom cocktails. I had the All Source and it was amazing. As good as they are, do not have to many as the extensive wine list offers many great options. After a drink, moved on to the snacks, and the two I tried potato burnt butter rosti and duck parfait) were great. Agnolotti and leek confit starters were both very tasty. Mains were the lamb and wagu, both perfectly cooked and incredibly delicious. Service was excellent as was the Coal Pit Pinot. In sum, an all around excellent dining experience. A must visit when in Queenstown."

"Lots of hype about the burgers down the street, why waste time waiting when you can have an awesome burger here along with great brews! The pretzel is as good as any in Germany! Delish! Great friendly service and no crazy lines for great food!"

"Recently visited Queenstown for a week. FAT has stunning views of The Remarkables, cosy atmosphere with friendly and prompt staff. Food is above your normal pub grub. Great flavours, generous serve and well priced. Highly recommend!"
