"I saw emma ollie here, so I called earlier to see which vegan options they have. the lady had no understanding of what vegan means (proposed a grilled cheese. since I have a heavy food allergy, I asked if she could ask the cook. they told me they don't have vegan options, so I should try somewhere else. they were not willing to accommodate, so I am curious when they changed chefs since the previous review."

"We got there as soon as they opened and we?re able to get seated right away. This placed gets packed and doesn?t accept reservations so plan accordingly. Food was great! You HAVE to try the fried green beans and the mule was amazing. Location issmall but intimate. Parking is limited. Highly recommend adding this to your list when in town. We will definitely be back"

"We had such a lovely time here on a busy autumn Friday evening. I have several dietary restrictions (no meat, no dairy, limited onion/garlic) and was grateful there is an option on their website to send question a few days in advance. Shawn the owner called me himself and left a nice long voicemail assuring me that all of the dishes are made from scratch and can be altered however I would like. It was such a relief to know that dinner would be hassle-free and it was also delicious! I had linguini with marinara and fresh steamed vegetables and a small house salad with balsamic vinaigrette. My date had the lasagna and loved ithe ate half and then the other half for breakfast the next morning . Both our dishes tasted like they were from scratch..fresh Our server was fast and friendly and easily understood my asking for no dairy in anything. Shawn himself greeted us at the door and remembered my name. Everything was authentic like a legit family owned restaurant should be. I’m looking forward to going back the next time we’re in town, thank you Shawn and Pasta Bella! Vegetarian options: there’s not labels on the vegetarian items or details on ingredients but if you ask, they’re happy to tell you. Dietary restrictions: as i mentioned, super accommodating and friendly about my restrictions (no meat, no dairy, avoiding garlic and onion). I am not gluten-free but was told they could easily do gluten-free options. Parking: We lucked out and got an easy parking spot across the street. The location is in the busy downtown area but street parking is free!"
