Nice, convenient cafe right in front of L. L. Bean fishing and hunting store. A little pricey, but food was good and staff was quite friendly. Got excellent clam chowder (very creamy), a good wrap, unsweetened iced tea, and ginger beer from a local soda company. The ginger beer was too sweet. View all feedback.
What Fran48 doesn't like about 1912 Cafe:
We ate here while at LL Bean. Not good. No hot food available. Salmon in wrap so salty hard to eat. Roast Beef wrap had little meat. Worse was the attitude. I asked for a cup for water. Long speech about how due to inventory rules they would have to charge me $2.50 for a cup or my other choice was $1.99 for a bottle of water. Their soda machine has a water choice...have never been charged for a cup to get plain water... View all feedback.
