Kucci - Freiburg im Breisgau

There are some hidden places in Freiburg that are also worth a longer search or drive. The Kucci is definitely such a place. At this point, the large guest room and the covered terrace are a real plus. The international student residence is also not a disadvantage. In front of the restaurant, an Arbor street, in front of a green area, not bad at all! But in times of Google Earth and Tomtom there is only local knowledge. Small private access is overlooked, local parking is used by a third-party company during the day. The environment is dominated by a senior residence. There is no exoticism from Hindu Kush. But far missed! The place in red and earth tones is attractively orientalized, on two levels there are either normal stands or lower seat cushions with corresponding tables. Separate places behind tent-like fabric webs and canopy provide protection from curious views. It is a family business, the whole family is integrated in kitchen, bar and service. It is naturally boiled afghan, but with a remarkable variety. An excellent mantu can be missing as well as Kabuli Palau and various kabababababs. All foods are good, but not excessively seasoned, but on request a degree of sharpness is also placed. the service is inconspicuously attentive and also with special requests or questions about the offer helpful oriental hospitality is noticeable at any time. ubiers felt very comfortable here and like to come back to know the way...

Wunderbares afghanisches Restaurant mit leckeren vegetarischen Varianten, schönem Ambiente und zuvorkommenden Bedienungen. Die Portionen sind reichlich und sehr fein abgeschmeckt, v.a. die fleischlosen Gerichte sind überragend gut. Fast ein kleiner Urlaub.

Sehr leckeres Essen, nette Bedienung, alles sehr gut. Nicht unbedingt für den kleinen Studentengeldbeutel geeignet, aber auch nicht überteuert! Das Ambiente drinnen ist sehr schön, es gibt auch einige Tische draußen (wer gerne Leute beobachtet, kommt dank des Hostels nebenan auf seine Kosten :-)).Ich empfehle die Teigtaschen, haben mich an nepalesische Momos erinnert, sehr sehr lecker!

The place has a very cosy atmosphere which is further supplemented with far-apart tables and a charming service. The food portions are fair, food is delicious and the overall value is great; for 2 appetizers, 2 main courses a dessert and a 1/2L of wine we paid 50 eur.
