"To get a table at Marumo you have to wait. It was well worth it. We enjoyed every course that was delicately layed before us. Each dish was explained, well presented and very tasty. We would love to return to sample the autumn menu."

"I ordered take away Vietnamese coffee $5), roast pork bahn mi $9) and pork puff $3.5). Great bahn mi, there were a lot of roast pork throughout. The chilli wasn't hot enough, next time I will ask for more chilli. The kids enjoyed the pork puff pastry."

"We went for a coffee and ended up having soup too. The service was polite and friendly. The soup was also very palatable. They have plans to upgrade the chairs and tables soon to nice wooden ones as it currently feels like a food hall with plastic ones. This will be a pleasant change. Would definitely go back."

"Part of the Fremantle Arts Centre, a fascinating piece of architecture dating back to the the Cafe stocks a great range of food, has a wine menu and, most importantly, the grounds outside the cafe have a wonderful coverage of trees that provide shade...from the Perth sun. An added bonus is the constnatly changing series of art on display in the other part of the building (they also offer art classes for kids) and a terrific gift shop."
