Gumagumalu from Fremont Menu

What Avinash Karthaveerya likes about Gumagumalu:
I ordered here after seeing Ragi Sangati on their menu. I was missing the traditional indian dish with curry back home and was very happy to see it on the menu.I ordered the Ragi Sankati with Natu kodi curry. In english, it is a finger millet with chicken curry. Although it didnt quite replace the meal from my village, it did a pretty good job of satisfying me. What shiva prasad doesn't like about Gumagumalu:
We had the vegetarian Thali and Podi Dosa.Podi Dosa was fine but needed more potato. The chutney is made of peanuts like in Andhra. No coconut. So not the chutney that most Indians are used to.The Thali had one chapathi with multiple curries. Unfortunately, all the curries had too much salt and layer of oil floating for several of them.The ambiance is quite unimpressive including the entrance area.I do not recommend... View all feedback.

The problem is wait time in the middle of the eating thali or breakfast buffet. They take lot of time to serve food. By the time they serve the food the craving...

"The coffee was very good. The hostess was very nice. I have to mark you down because they put the seam of the cup towards the front and therefore hot coffee dribbled all over me. THANKS! This is barista 101, the cup seam goes OPPOSITE the drinking hole. If I've helped just one person, it will have been worth it."

"The cashier was very unprofessional I asked for additional cheese and crushed red pepper he gave me 2 packs I asked for more and the cashier gave me a stupid look at his face. I also asked for napkins and plates and the cashier decides an unnecessarily large stack of napkins on the few plates and cheese packs he gave me. I ordered two big pizzas and asked them to be cooked extra crispy. I even made sure that the restaurant reminds them, but they could clearly not follow simple instructions. The pizza dough was barely cooked by it tasted slightly raw. I wouldn't recommend this place to any of my family or friends. I don't want them to get sick from their badly cooked pizza dough and unprofessional service."
