Ramen Arashi is reminiscent of a traditional Ramen stall in Tokyo neighborhood. It is run by 2 Japanese ladies, efficient and courteous customers services. Menu is small, but it's clear chicken broth is the best in Fremont area. Prices are mid range and reasonable to its quality. View all feedback.
What christian37ism doesn't like about Kai Ramen Sherman Oaks:
Food was okay, lacked seasoning. Had to ask for some salt. Service was slow, only one person as host, waitress, and cook. Was seated behind the host desk, in the middle of foot traffic. Other customers kept bumping into my chair. A for effort. View all feedback.
Decided to have my first Ramen, and I chose this one. I really enjoyed it! Delicious, good proportion that it could be shared with one more person. Not too spicy but enough to make your sinuses runny.
$9 for small portion of fried calamari?! not worth it, nothing special, just fried..... Also $8 for just fried dumplings?! not worth it either!!
Ramen was good (noodles and broth). I feel like it could use a little more meat to it however. Also, one of my items was missing from the order
Try the spicy miso ramen, Im in love if I could Id give them 10 stars
Their miso ramen is really, really good. Theres a very slight sweetness to the broth thats delicious. The chashu was nice as well, its cut fairly thinly and is pretty soft as a result--which gets around a problem other ramen places have where the chashu is too thick and is way too chewy. My only complaint is that the ajitama had too much sake in its marinade, the alcohol flavor in the yolk was overpowering.
