The night I visited, they were also undertaking modifications so we ate to a background of sawing and hammering. The Hot Sour beef in double hot sauce was OK but...a little bland. The lady serving asked spice level 1-12 and said 1 was normal, 4 was very hot and 12 was only suitable if you can eat raw chillies. I had 4 and should have picked 12. Soup, a standard main course plus a beer will be $50 and you may leave thinking you could have ate more but were unwilling to pay the prices. The Thai restaurant in the Au Parc hotel is a much better choice but is closed Monday and Tuesday."

"Lazily writing in English as lazily speaking in english last night but staff very polite and helpful in speaking english with us. Would love to speak better french to be able to talk more with the perfectly convivial host Monsieur Ayer who represents his food so well with his charming smile and warm greeting and adieu.
