"This a take-away with a few tables for those who want to eat straightaway and mainly patronised by the student population - it is only open at lunch time on week days. The food is a hybrid between Vietnamese and Chinese styles and not bad at all and I go there a couple of times a month when I need something quick for lunch."

"This restaurant offers reasonably good quality Chinese fare in small portions at unbelievable prices. The night I visited, they were also undertaking modifications so we ate to a background of sawing and hammering. The Hot Sour beef in double hot sauce was OK but...a little bland. The lady serving asked spice level 1-12 and said 1 was normal, 4 was very hot and 12 was only suitable if you can eat raw chillies. I had 4 and should have picked 12. Soup, a standard main course plus a beer will be $50 and you may leave thinking you could have ate more but were unwilling to pay the prices. The Thai restaurant in the Au Parc hotel is a much better choice but is closed Monday and Tuesday."

"Lazily writing in English as lazily speaking in english last night but staff very polite and helpful in speaking english with us. Would love to speak better french to be able to talk more with the perfectly convivial host Monsieur Ayer who represents his food so well with his charming smile and warm greeting and adieu. The food was great as always….a lovely balanced and flavoursome menu. Always very happy to eat here"

"My favorite place in Fribourg! The friendly crew creates a relaxed atmosphere in this great place in the center of the town. If you go there as a couple, ask for one of the small tables on the balcony with a stunning view of the...old city. What comes in your plate is plain bliss. Go with the menu and just taste chef Frédérik's creations which are adapted to the season and feature mainly local produce. You can often see him choosing fresh fruits and vegetables at the local market which takes place every Saturday morning in front of the restaurant. If you want to taste this great cooking without spending much money, go for the meal at lunchtime."
