It’s fast food. You can’t expect perfection. These guys do an admirable job nonetheless.The food is consistent and the service is good. The only negative is that it can get a bit loud when they’re busy. This is especially true when the kids are running around (Saturdays are the worst).Regardless, the location is convenient. I haven't had a great experience at this location one time and I've tried it over a dozen times since moving near this location. The fries are always cold, the chicken always seems to be small and very thin. Orders tend to be missing things and by the time I get home, it's not an option to go back. The manager at this restaurant is incredibly kind and handled a situation we had with great professionalism. As is typical of any Chic-Fil-A, the service is exceptional and the food is fantastic. Overall rating for the food: 5 out of 5.
The service was exceptionally quick in getting my order ready! I utilized the app to place my order. Oh my goodness, the peach milkshake was absolutely delicious and refreshing. It was thick enough to not be too watery, but not overly thick that it was difficult to drink through the straw. Accompanying my shake, I also ordered some nuggets to add to my salad. Overall, I give the food a perfect score of 5 out of 5.
I am a fan of Chick-fil-A, but unfortunately this particular location is the nearest one to our house. About half of the time, our drive-through and online pick-up orders are incorrect. Despite the convenience of the location, I have been disappointed with the lack of improvement in quality control over the past two years. Even something as simple as including salad dressing with a salad seems to be a challenge for them. We have resorted to buying bottles of Chick-fil-A ranch as a backup when we don't receive condiment packets. It looks like I'll need to start keeping backup salad dressing in the fridge as well.
The overly strict portion control here is an absolute joke. I’m sorry, but this skimpy salad absolutely is NOT worth almost $11.There’s ALWAYS something wrong with my order at this Chick-fil-A. Either portions are unreasonably small or something will be completely wrong with the order. The last time I went here they gave me the wrong type of salad entirely.I don’t know why I’ve given them so many chances, but this is definitely the last time I’ll be giving them my money.
This CFA has to be one of the poorer managed location in the area, look at all the poor reviews, not common for a CFA. Their layout/design is not very welcoming. You feel squeezed and crowded as soon as you walk in the door and make your way towards the dining area. The cashiers/ staff aren’t as attentive as you would expect as it is not uncommon to stand there and not be greeted for some time. I am not referring to the cashier who may be busy, but just any employee standing behind the counter. The food is good and hot, but the waffle fries will sometimes come out way short. They don’t say the “My Pleasure” response consistently either. I guess my main gripe for this location is the fact that they are not what one expects from a traditional Chick-fil-A. This Friendswood location is just another fast food establishment that does not deliver on a reputation that they are known for and why people are willing to pay more for. This is the fault of their operator and leadership. Kids are there to just earn some spending money. With the current climate businesses find them in, you need to do better CFA Friendswood.
