"Where do I begin? When you walk in, you’re immediately treated like family. The atmosphere is so friendly and relaxing that you feel right at home! The service is impeccable! The owner and the staff are incredibly nice and helpful. You can tell they truly care about their customers. Now, the food is unbelievable! I’m Ukrainian, and my husband is American. We both couldn’t have been happier with the food! We ordered A LOT (beef tongue, Russian style herring, borscht, Turkish liver, manti, plov, lamb ribs kebab, buckwheat kasha with mushrooms, and Napoleon). Every dish was so spectacular that we had to come back for dinner the next day! Sadly, we live 4 hours away, but this will be our only go-to restaurant every time we’re in Dallas!"

"Poor service. Had to refill our own water and bus our own empty glasses to make room on the table. The waitress’ focus jumped from the most recently table sat to the next. Food was poor with huge portions to overcome the lack of flavor and the low food grade quality. Prices were disproportionately high, almost 5x for the standard of food. What I found strange was there so many staff, but no one paid any attention to their customers attempts to flag them down or ask for something. Overall poor service. High prices. Disappointing food."

"I?m not using a small styrofoam soup bowl for water. This was one of my favorite places to go for a quick bowl, but when I asked for a cup for water, they said I had to use a small styrofoam soup bowl. Thinking they were out of plastic cups?.WRONG. The couple behind me got plastic cups for the fountain drink. I understand the cost of a business and saving where you can, but I?m not drinking out of a cup the size of a to-go ramekin or a styrofoam to-go container for ?bowls??..c?mon man. I?ll go somewhere else."

"The food was great! And the dining space is comfortable and clean. I removed stars because of service. We dined on a Friday morning at 9:45am.It took 18 min before anyone even came to our table to take drink orders or acknowledged us. The place was pretty full, but a simple acknowledgement from ANYONE hey guys, we 'll be right with you! Would have sufficed.Our waiter was kind. But this place seemed so unorganized, our waiter had random tables all over the restaurant, rather than a section so I think that 's why we sat for so long without anyone speaking to us?!?! I don 't know, but we won 't be back unfortunately. Looks like they have good business as it was pretty packed for a late Friday morning though!"
