"I was disappointed with my experience at Mezcal. I love the Mezcal in Dewitt so when I was in Clinton I decided to stop by here to try it out. I ordered one of the specials, the Chile Colorado, which is one of my favorite dishes. I was told they didn't have enough and that I would need to order something else. I thought this was weird being that it was a special and I dined on a Saturday at noon, but thought maybe they forgot to take it off the board. My second order was for their California burrito, which I ordered with chorizo. What I got was a tortilla with ground beef inside, it was not chorizo. There was no spice, or seasonings at all in that meat. I'm not sure if they also ran out of that and just didn't want to admit it or just didn't think I would notice. Either way, I was pretty unimpressed with the burrito and the food in general. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4"

"We were on a Sunday trip and decided to try a new place and saw some cars here and thought we would try it, and all four of us were very glad we did. 3 of us ordered the fried chicken and an ordered spaghetti. Everything was well served hot and fresh, although some of the smaller pieces chickens were a little dry, but the taste was very good. The service was excellent. Everyone was very efficient and friendly. While we were there, they were always clean. Most people who worked there wore masks per pair of precautions right, but there was one that made salad dressing and filling soups and such that the mask was too far away to be helpful. Meals all came with soup or salad, in which we ordered all the chicken and rice soup that was very good. The chicken dishes came with a potato and mixed vegetables and the spaghetti meal came with garlic toast and all meals came with dessert. Meals were all plentiful and tasty. As I mentioned, they really went over and over the cleaning that we are particularly appreciated as we are in the middle of a pandemic. I will say that the floor on the way to the toilets and within them were very licked so that I would be careful on them. The parking lot was very comfortable and plentiful."
