Most of the menu is naturally gluten free but you can ask… the wait staff might not know but the owner/manager is very knowledgeable. Food was very good.

We enjoyed our meal. Had to ask what was gluten free but otherwise it was an easy experience. We enjoyed trying the local limpets here.

"We came here after hiking to Pico do Ruivo and it was the best decision ever! This place is so authentic. You are very warm welcome and offered a drink. We took 2 sangrias of maracuja. As main dish we took fish with banana. Oh my God, it was so delicious!!! We also recommend to take the garlic bread. All in one: great place to be! Worth 5 stars."
