Came across this smallish cafe that was busy (so must be OK) and full of local Funchal people rather than only tourists. The range of food and meals is sufficient but not huge which usually means the quality is good, it was. "We came here after hiking to Pico do Ruivo and it was the best decision ever! This place is so authentic. You are very warm welcome and offered a drink. We took 2 sangrias of maracuja.
