"A family with italian ancestors makes home-like food and treats guests with mediterranean warmth. We had fried fish and posta (beef) in tomato sauce, but they were also ready to fill a vegetarian platter, if needed. Visitors to the casa-museo de Gabo, just around the corner, will be gladly impressed with the low-priced high quality food, served in an open patio surrounded with tropical plants. and boasting a beautiful large format art photo from world-famous Aracataca´s son Leo Matíz. Both Gabo and Matíz were close acquaintances of this family. It helps to be fluent in Spanish to enjoy their friendship. If it rains during your lunch, as it did during ours, the magic comes to town. Highly recommended."
