"The Italians can have a classic and so did my kids but if you are into some local specialities... here you can try: pizza Braiser with « foie gras » and « oignons confits » or with « magret du canard » and even the mozzarella can be replaced with « bleu d’Auvergne » The wine card is simple and gives you the choice between som local French wines and some Italian reds. Very reasonable priced. My only was the French style « espresso » if I can accept « canard fumé » on my pizza I’m a lot less tolerant to a small cup of coffee instead of a true Italian espresso. Other than that, the service is a bit sloppy... they forgot my salad and I had to remind them about the above mentioned coffee. Yes ! It is good and the place is easy to find, just on the other side of the main square. Actually on the « church side » they have a window selling ice cream ! Bon appétit !"

"My wife and I dined here in early June, after a long day of exploring the area. Were warmly greeted. Food and wine were excellent and well priced for the quality served to us. We had the veal and the cod, dessert and wine. Unbelievable ! Service was excellent and attentive.Our waiter went out of his way to help us Aussies select our wine, which was a great choice. If you are ever in Martel, please dine here. You wont be disappointed. Steve Simone."
