I've been a couple times since I got a gift card and eating is pretty good. However, there are not so many vegan options and $10 for a single waffel is quite ridiculous. the juices are also very overpriced. I really don't feel good going there as a vegan. they have a müll for food scrap to feed the pigs and it makes me sad when I see him. they have a kind of self-righteous environment/coop vibe, which is particularly... This is one of my go to spots for lunch! I especially like the raw walnut burger the kale salad. It's small cozy often very crowded. They've got several Kombucha's on tap delicious raw, vegan desserts!
This is one of those walk up and order places and it is very small. Not having been there before, it was awkward hovering at the counter, trying to choose something, with the not helpful cashier glaring and drumming her fingers on the counter, as others accumulated behind us in the doorway. I ordered the island of hummus (maybe called something else), and it was a giant portion of hummus, a few veggies with 3 very small raw crackers. In essence, it was a ton of dip with very little to dip it up with, additionally, it was several dollars more to get 3 more tiny raw crackers. The food wasn't terrible, but I wouldn't go back. The service was bad, the atmosphere worse, and it was too expensive for what it is.
We went on a Thursday around 1pm. It's a tiny building with no room for a line (you order at a counter). We were at the end of the line, the door half open to fit us in. The lady snapped at us to shut the door (it was the most beautiful day you could ever imagine). Great amount of vegan options, I will say. But the way it is laid out, the building, there are only a few tables with none outside (although there's a ton of wasted space out front and surrounding the building), the people were obnoxious, the lady at the counter had no idea what was vegan and wasn't. We waited 30 minutes on a curb for our to go order, a wrap and a sandwich, which were mediocre at best. We won't go back.
Highly recommend. Lots of vegan options. The vegan Ruben was one of the best I have had. Kale chips were perfectly crisp and seasoned. The raw tart was great. Juices delicious. Very casual place for take out or a relaxed eat-in. Prices were reasonable. Give it a try!
We had brunch here on our way from Atlanta to Tampa, boy are we glad we stopped here! It was absolutely superdeeduper delicious food! We ordered the waffle egg sandwich and big belly burrito both of which were beautifully presented and were yummy scrummy. We also had their lattes which were good and my husband is a coffee snob. The service was great too! We wish they were closer to home, we would definitely frequent this place.
